Choose to be a mighty Viking warrior or a fearsome Shieldmaiden in this fast-paced game of head-to-head (and head-off-shoulders) dueling.

Build your warrior in preparation for the duel & be the last warrior standing to claim victory - or fall and join the Gods in Valhalla!

Each warrior is built using Torcs placed in four martial attributes; MIGHT, PROWESS, FORTITUDE & WILL then earn a Warrior's Wyrd - a boon bestowed by the Norns to bless your blade or curse your foe's arm.

Combat is simultaneous with your foe rolling dice to Hit and Wound your opponent. You learn how best to wear down your opponent while keeping your head firmly attached to your shoulders!

Game includes:

• Two beautifully illustrated, high-quality 23" x 14" play mats (choose Berzerkers or Shieldmaidens)
• 1 player aid fabric mat for easily tracking how to Hit & Wound your foe each turn.
• 16 wooden torcs to represent your stats on the board and 25 Runes - (real-world runes for use here and in your own divinations)
• 40 Action cards consisting of 38 Battle Deck cards and 2 Round modifier cards.
• 1 rules booklet and 2 dice
