The Vulk is a shadowy predator with senses that let it operate in total darkness, stepping in and out of reality to feed its serpentine form and endless hunger for slaughter. Meant as a challenge for one PC, they also can travel in packs, and left unchecked can grow into Dire Vulks or even the gigantic Vulk Colossus.
